NSEA Championships 2025 - Riding Team

We were thrilled to have a team of 3 pupils; Lauren, Philippa and George, representing Brooke Priory School at the NSEA Grass Roots Championships 2025. 

The team competed in the 40cm and 50cm showjumping at the championships competing against the best of the best equestrian school teams across the whole country who qualified, so just to get to Hickstead was a huge achievement in itself!

The children competed in both the warmup rounds and championships the following day in a very competitive field of school equestrian teams. The children rode beautifully and represented the school perfectly. The competition was tough and for a newly formed team the results were fantastic.

The team, team manager (Mrs Gamble) and assistant coach (Oscar) demonstrated incredible teamwork, resilience and friendliness throughout the 2-day competition. A particular congratulations to Lauren who came 3rd individually out of over 100 competitors in the 40cm championship class. 

'I am incredibly proud of our riders for qualifying for the prestigious Hickstead Championships and achieving such fantastic results. Their dedication, teamwork, and determination have been inspiring. They represented the school with real skill and sportsmanship and their love, respect and appreciation for their ponies has shone though throughout', Mrs Gamble (Team Manager).
