Friends of Brooke Priory
All parents and staff at Brooke Priory are automatically members of the Friends Association. The Friends of Brooke Priory School is a committee which is representative of parents within the school from Nursery to Form VI. The committee elects a Chairman who coordinates regular meetings to arrange social events for the children and parents which raise valuable monies for the school. Such events have included the Annual Christmas Fayre complete with stunning grotto, the children’s Valentine disco and support for the annual BPS May Ball for parents and friends of the school. Past in-house fundraising projects have included the installation of our conservation garden, the baby grand piano in the theatre and a flag pole at the front of school together with a Brooke Priory flag and the flags of the home nations. The Friends also kindly provided the nets for our recently introduced Tchoukball, ballet barres for our Brooke dancers, and “Buddy” benches for the children.
The Friends committee regularly plans and engages in fundraising for our local community, as well as national and international charities and initiatives; and staff, parents and children within the Brooke Priory family come together to support with great enthusiasm and passion to become “global contributors” in line with our important school values.
Members of the Senior Leadership Team, representative of the EYFS, Pre-Prep and Prep School, join the committee twice a term and the Headmaster also endeavours to attend the meetings whenever possible.
Exciting updates coming soon from the “Friends of Brooke Priory School”….
