Curriculum
‘Pupils’ attitudes towards learning are outstanding. They relish the learning opportunities which the school provides and take great pride in their work, progress and achievements.’ – ISI Inspection Report, 2017
From the very start, our School Values encourage good learning habits: resilience, hard work, confidence and teamwork. A specifically tailored curriculum offers broad and varied opportunities which place activity, exploration and investigation at their core. We aim to prepare children for the next phases of their lives, for the demands of a more specialised senior education and, in the longer term, to be able to meet the challenges of the workplace and to thrive in their personal and professional lives, understanding their responsibilities in making the world a better place.
‘Academic achievement across the school, both in and outside of the classroom, is excellent.’ – ISI Inspection Report, 2017
Engaged children who have a love of learning and a thirst for knowledge are important elements to a successful and happy education, with academic success across the curriculum a tangible result of the determination and commitment of our staff, our pupils, and the support of parents.
