Aims and Values

‘Pupils’ behaviour is excellent. They show outstanding respect and kindness towards one another.’ – ISI Inspection Report 2017

The staff at Brooke Priory seek to combine innovative learning approaches, suited to the needs of the child, with the best traditional, academic and social standards.  We teach children to become independent, reflective learners and self-managers.  Knowledge and skills are applied individually in the pursuit of excellence; our pupils succeed and thrive without compromising moral standards or their sense of humanity.

We provide a secure, caring, nurturing and happy environment, where a sense of family pervades all we do within the School.  We expect Brooke Priory children to be courteous, well-mannered and to develop a high standard of self-discipline.  Our ‘umbrella’ value for all in the School is ‘to be the best we can be’.

The children are introduced to the School Values from the very beginning.  They were created in consultation with the pupils, the parents and the staff.

Brooke Priory School holds at the heart of all it does the importance of every pupil’s individuality.  We aim to foster, through the curriculum and all learning and social interactions, in equal measure:

  • Friendliness and Happiness
  • Confidence
  • Respectfulness
  • Hard Work and Resilience
  • Honesty
  • Teamwork
