Sport is a source of great fun and enjoyment throughout Brooke Priory.  It supports children's physical development and co-ordination, teaches them to be disciplined and focussed, both individually and in a team, and generates respect and inspiration.

Our boys and girls learn that competition is positive and, although winning is the aim, it is taking part that really matters.  Sportsmanship engenders fairness and generosity of spirit.

Through sport our pupils learn that hard work brings success and tenacity generates rewards.  Sport teaches them to encourage their peers and lead by example.  It develops team work and collaboration.

We have a very busy fixture list and enjoy matches against many local schools.  As members of IAPS we also enter regional competitions and often gain a place in a further stage.

To kick start a new season, the children regularly enjoy visits from professional coaches and sporting personalities.  Children relish the opportunity to watch professional sport and trips are often arranged.

Inter-house competitions are held at the end of each term.

Sport really matters at Brooke Priory.
