Primary Maths Challenge

Back to the news pages...

Last term children from Forms V and VI took part in the Primary Maths Challenge. This is a national event where children sit a paper of 25 questions, which not only test mathematical knowledge but also the ability to think things through and find ways to solve problems. It is not for the faint-hearted and this year's paper certainly presented some interesting conundrums! Well done to everyone who took part.  A special mention to Lorenzo and Eloise who both scored enough points to receive a Gold Certificate. Lorenzo has subsequently taken part in the bonus round, which he thoroughly enjoyed, despite some of the questions being more challenging!
